Are you one of those people who has always fancied learning Welsh but somehow never got round to it? Or maybe you have recently decided that you’d like to learn Welsh and you’re looking for somewhere that runs lessons?
There are several ways of improving your Welsh at the Canolfan:
- Weekly Evening Classes starting in September.
- Saturday one-day classes which are held in the Centre three times a year. These are run by a committee of tutors and learners from the City Lit college but hosted at the Centre.

The Cardiff University Welsh for Adults Centre has been teaching the Welsh language, one of Europe’s oldest written languages, for over 30 years. Interest in the Welsh language is on the increase, with more and more people wanting to learn every year. Cardiff University’s Welsh for Adults Centre now wishes to provide the opportunity to learn Welsh to people in more countries.
