About Us

The London Welsh Centre is a not-for-profit organisation whose aim is to promote Welsh culture and interests in London.

Pop in for a warm welcome!

Its home is a building on Gray’s Inn Road which is owned by the London Welsh Trust and is run by volunteers.

The Centre hosts a wide range of social and cultural activities usually with a distinctly Welsh flavour.  Whether you are Welsh, have Welsh ancestry or are just interested in Wales, you have come to the right place – there is a warm Welsh welcome waiting for you at the London Welsh Centre so why not join, come down and visit us or get in touch via email – administrator@lwcentre.demon.co.uk

The volunteer staff of the Centre are here to help so if you need to book a room, want to join the club or are just curious about any of the activities that are going on at the LWC, call the office on – 020 7837 3722. Huw, Aleine or Iola will be happy to help.

If you are passing by, drop in and head upstairs where Dave Jones has been serving thirsty Welshmen and women for the past 15 years.  No one knows the LWC like Dave so if you are looking for tales of Tom Jones’ visits, or want to find out how we get S4C in London, Dave’s your man.

Check out our History and Links pages for more on the Centre and the other Welsh organisations in London.
